RUSSELL COUNTY, AL - It's almost time for registration for the Russell County Baseball League.

Head to the Russell county Sports Complex on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST and Sunday, Jan. 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST.

Columbus picks two outfitters for whitewater course

COLUMBUS, GA - We are one step closer to rafting on the Chattahoochee. Two outfitters have been chosen to guide rafters down the river.

Whitewater Express (WE) will be located in downtown Phenix City and Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) will be located in Uptown Columbus.

Russell County High wins National Peanut Festival Cheerleading Competition

RUSSELL COUNTY, AL - The Russell County High School Cheerleaders took home a first place trophy this past Saturday at the National Peanut Festival Cheerleading Competition.

It is an annual cheerleading competition held in Dothan, AL at the National Peanut Festival.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Don't be surprised if you see lots of pretty ladies running around Columbus in their pajamas Friday, June 22.

They won't be running to a giant sleepover, but they will be running for a purpose.

Columbus Lions giving away free kids tickets

COLUMBUS, GA - The Columbus Lions Indoor Football Team is partnering with all the local Chick fila locations on Wednesday, May 2 from 11 am to 2 pm.

The players and Chick-fil-A will be passing out free Kids Tickets in all Kids Meals in preparation for "Kids Day Promo" scheduled Sunday, May 6th against the home state rival, Albany Panthers.

Archery shoot to raise money for sick children

PHENIX CITY, AL - “Hunt Of A Lifetime” is a nonprofit organization with a mission to grant hunting and fishing dreams for young people age 21 and under who have been diagnosed with life threatening illnesses.

This fund raising event will be an Outdoor 3D Shoot at Archery Connection located at 3022 Lakewood Dr. Phenix City, Alabama. The event will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 19 and at noon on Sunday, May 20.
