Russell County High wins National Peanut Festival Cheerleading Competition

RUSSELL COUNTY, AL - The Russell County High School Cheerleaders took home a first place trophy this past Saturday at the National Peanut Festival Cheerleading Competition.

It is an annual cheerleading competition held in Dothan, AL at the National Peanut Festival.

Meadowlane Elementary School is proud to announce their annual Red Ribbon Week parade against drugs and violence on Tuesday October 30 at 9:30 a.m. in from LP Stough Recreation Center off of Seale Road in Phenix City, Alabama. 

They are excited to have almost 200 volunteers from Central High School participating.

Phenix City Schools Superintendent Dr. Larry DiChiara and newly elected Mayor Eddie Lowe will lead them off.

PHENIX CITY, AL - Lakewood Elementary will be holding its 6th annual hair cutting event! 

Students, teachers, and other willing participants will be donating 8 to 10 inches of their hair to organizations that provide wigs for children and adults who have lost their hair to cancer or other diseases.

The free Career Exploration Camp will be held twice this summer at CVCC for rising sixth through eighth graders.
