PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM)- News Leader 9 has learned of a head-on collision located
at 2604
 4th Avenue in Phenix City.

It's reported that 3 people are injured.

Tag 84 is an orange and white Domestic Short Haired male. He is already neutered and is very affectionate. He will be an excellent pet for anyone looking for a devoted and charming cat.

Jeep rams into 18 wheeler on Hwy 280, no injuries

(WTVM)- News Leader 9 has learned from authorities there are no injuries at the accident on Highway 280 that happened Monday afternoon.

We're hearing that a jeep rammed into the back of an 18-wheeler.

Sawmill fire threatens to bankrupt Talbot County rehab clinic

TALBOT COUNTY, GA (WTVM)- A charity run by a Phenix City church is in trouble following a devastating fire. Flames destroyed a crucial structure on City Gate Ministry's site in Talbot County and now a problem with their insurance coverage is threatening to put them under.   

The Gatehouse in Junction City is a rehab clinic for men who wish to leave their troubled pasts behind and adopt a new life with strong foundations and spiritual growth. 

Driver license designation soon to be available to veterans

This is what a permanent license would look like.

(WTVM)- Alabama veterans may have the option beginning May 1 of displaying proof of military service on their driver licenses.

Rep. Marcel Black, D-Tuscumbia, introduced the Veteran's Driver License legislation, which Gov. Robert Bentley signed into law in May 2012.

 "Now, our veterans may readily show their status to obtain any benefits, rebates and accommodations they richly deserve," said Black. "I am proud to have played a part, along with Sen. Marc Keahey (D-Grove Hill), in making this happen."

showcased from Columbus Animal Control have been rescued. Some of their friends
in the shelter were not so fortunate.

Here is a look at today's
pets that deserve life and love, among so many other things.

Tag 262 is a male,
domestic short haired tabby. He is a sweet-natured and laid-back boy who has a
lifetime of love to share.

Tag 301 is a female
domestic short haired cat. She has had a tough life, and is ready to have a
loving family to call her own.
