Tractor trailer wreck shuts down Hwy 431 | News
PHENIX CITY, AL - An accident on 431 in Phenix City has the road shut down Tuesday morning.
The collision happened around 6:10 a.m. when a car crashed into a tractor trailer, causing them both to lose control.
There were only minor injuries from the accident which happened right after the turn for 165.
Authorities are asking everyone to stay away from the area. There were 150 gallons of diesel fuel spilled during the crash.
Crews hope to have the wreck cleaned up by noon.
The northbound lanes of 431 are currently closed and only one southbound lane is open.
