RUSSELL COUNTY, AL (WTVM)- A Russell County woman accused of hiring a hitman to kill her daughter is now out of jail on bond.

Sheriff Heath Taylor told News Leader 9 Lisa Graham's bond was reduced from $1 million to $250,000 and she has been ordered to wear an ankle bracelet.

Back in September, a mistrial was declared in the capital murder case.  A judge suspended the trial after delaying proceedings for more than an hour due to his health.

Graham is accused of hiring a hitman to kill her daughter, 20-year-old Stephanie Shae Graham.

The prosecutors are seeking to prove Graham not only conspired with Kenneth Walton, who confessed he shot Stephanie six times and left her body on a dirt road near Cottonton, AL  in 2007, but she also gave him the gun to commit the crime.

Walton pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.

Graham was in the custody of the Russell County Jail and posted bail just hours after Thursday's bond hearing.

News Leader 9 will continue to keep you posted on any new developments in this case.
