Two teens killed in Russell County car crash | News
RUSSELL COUNTY, AL - Two teens were killed Sunday in Russell County following a single car crash.
Coroner Arthur Sumbry, Jr. pronounced them dead at the scene around 6:30 pm, two and a half hours after their Jeep Cherokee rolled over at Gulatt Rd near Crawford and hit a tree.
The driver was identified as 18 year-old Khadajah Core of Opelika. The passenger was 13 year-old Jaquon Trimele of Alexander City.
Another passenger was rushed to the medical center and survived. Speed played a role in the accident, according to sumbry.
