Apartment fire destroys several homes in Phenix City | News
PHENIX CITY, AL - A large blaze destroyed several apartments in Phenix City Thursday night, leaving several families without a home.
The fire started at the Dolphin Apartment Complex off of Opelika Road around 5:30 p.m. but the cause of the fire is still unknown.
Four families were displaced, but no one was seriously hurt. Some people were monitored for smoke inhalation.
A dog was almost trapped inside, but two men saved him as the apartment filled with smoke.
