Smiths Station man caught with stolen property | Crime

PHENIX CITY, AL - A Smiths Station man  was arrested in Phenix City Friday after being caught with drugs and stolen property.

Royce Oakes, age 36, was arrested at Price Rd. and US Hwy 431 on Nov. 9.He was in possession of property that was recently reported stolen in Lee County.

Oakes is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second degree receiving stolen property. 

Oakes was processed and transported to the Russell County Jail.
