Police seek help in 2011 homicide | Crime
PHENIX CITY, AL - Ramona Sharlene Fairwell was killed at Idle Hour Park on Sept. 9, 2011 around 11 p.m. and Phenix City Police are looking for any information on the case.
Fairwell was shot while sitting in her car near Moon Lake. Witnesses reported that three black males were seen in the area at the time of the shooting.
The first suspect was wearing a black thermal shirt the subject is reported to be thin in size, height approximate 5’11”, with low cut style hair cut. The second suspect was a black male age and height unknown, and was wearing a black ski mask, the third suspect also described as a black male with dread locks hair style and was wearing a white T shirt and brown pants. It is believed that all three suspects are in there early 20’s.
Witnesses also said that one of the suspects had a semi automatic pistol.
Fairwell was driving a black 2008 Acura TL.
The Phenix City Police are requesting anyone with knowledge of this crime to contact either the Phenix City Police Department, Det. Donnie Thomas at 334-448-2819 or Valley Area Crime Stoppers.
